Self-Mastery

Applied Attention, Regulation, and Leadership Judgment

You're leading from autopilot

The pressure mounts. The stakes rise. And in the moment that matters most, you default.

You snap at your team. You second-guess the decision you already made. You avoid the conversation you know you need to have. Later, you see it clearly. In the moment, you were reacting.

The issue isn't information or systems. It's losing access to your own judgment when it matters most.

You're capable of more. The question is whether you can lead from that capacity consistently, especially under pressure.

What This Course Develops:

Executive Self-Mastery helps leaders and their teams get clear on what's actually driving their decisions, and what's costing them. By the time we're done, they're not guessing anymore. They're leading from their own authority. And everyone around them can feel the difference.

This is self-regulation as a leadership discipline: the ability to interrupt automatic reactions, rebuild trust in your own judgment, and lead with clarity when clarity is hardest to access.

By the end of this 8-session program, you will:

  • Regulate under pressure: Pause and respond intentionally instead of reacting from stress, fear, or overwhelm
  • Strengthen decision-making: Recognize and interrupt cognitive bias before it undermines your judgment
  • Rebuild team trust: Lead with consistency and presence, replacing volatility and second-guessing
  • Align actions with values: Close the gap between the leader you want to be and the one who shows up daily and in crisis
  • Sustain focus in chaos: Maintain attention on what matters, even in high-demand, multi-tasking environments
  • Reduce ethical drift: Make choices grounded in your values, not just urgency or convenience

The curriculum is applied practice supported by decades of research on attention regulation, emotional intelligence, and executive functioning.

FACULTY LEADERSHIP

This course is facilitated by Think For Good’s leadership team, bringing deep experience in leadership development, cognitive behavioral coaching, neuro-linguistic programming, and applied adult learning. Our facilitation emphasizes rigor, reflection, and real-world leadership application.

At the helm is Tray T.S. Deadwyler - the founder of Think For Good, Inc., a certified cognitive behavioral coach and Neuro-Linguistic Programming (NLP) practitioner with over two decades of leadership experience.

He is also the author of The Contemplative Morning, a guide to reflection and resilience built on 40 daily insights rooted in ancient wisdom and contemplative practice. The book's core themes: intentionality, courage, service, resilience, and love, align closely with the principles embedded in this curriculum. Both emerge from the same commitment: helping leaders build sustainable practices grounded in clarity, values, and presence.

Tray's approach combines evidence-based frameworks with the kind of rigor that comes from years of walking alongside leaders navigating high-stakes decisions, organizational change, and the tension between what leadership demands and what leaders can sustain. This isn't borrowed content. It's a framework refined through research, practice, and lived experience.
